Ramadan Sobhi collapses after being sentenced to one year in prison

The Giza Criminal Court, held at the Shubra El Kheima Courts Complex, sentenced Ramadan Sobhi, a winger of the first football team at the Pyramids Club, to one year in prison with labor, accusing him in a case of forging an official document at the Abu Nomros Institute.
During the last session, the court ordered the detention and imprisonment of Ramadan Sobhi until the sentencing session, and the player collapsed inside the cage amid a state of great shock that took hold of him and his defense team.
The Egyptian Public Prosecution ordered the referral of Ramadan Sobhi, the Pyramids club player, and others, to the competent criminal court, on charges of forgery inside one of the tourism and hotel institutes in the Abu Nomros area, after the prosecution decided earlier to release Ramadan Sobhi on a financial bail of 100,000 pounds.
Last May, the police arrested a person taking the exam instead of Ramadan Sobhi, the Pyramids club player, inside one of the institutes in the Abu Nomros area. While listening to the accused’s statements, he admitted that he had received financial compensation from the player in exchange for entering the committee and taking the exam on his behalf.
