"Emirates Balanced Development" Festivals conclude "Emirates villages" In Masfout and Qadfa

Abu Dhabi, 1st January / WAM / The activities of the Emirates Villages Festivals concluded yesterday in the Masfout regions of the Emirate of Ajman and Qidfa in the Emirate of Fujairah, organized by the Emirates Council for Balanced Development.
The festivals witnessed a large turnout of visitors who enjoyed the various programs and events that highlighted cultural heritage and social diversity and contributed to revitalizing the local economy and enhancing the tourist attraction of rural areas in the country.
The organization of the “Nasmat Masfout” and “Between the Palms of Qidfa” festivals came in line with the directives of the wise leadership with the aim of preserving the cultural and environmental heritage and enhancing the solid national identity in parallel with supporting sustainable development paths, especially economic and tourism, in various rural areas, in a way that enhances the quality of life and achieves social stability for the residents of these areas.
The festivals provided interactive programs targeting all members of society through a group of events that allowed visitors to explore rural areas, interact with folk arts, and participate in sports and entertainment activities within a comprehensive experience that met various interests and strengthened the position of the Emirates’ villages as a global tourist destination.
These festivals reflected the commitment of the Emirates Council for Balanced Development to provide sustainable and innovative initiatives within the “Emirates Villages” project that contribute to enhancing cultural identity, highlighting social diversity, and advancing economic and tourism growth, in addition to celebrating Emirati heritage through live performances of handicrafts and traditional arts and holding interactive workshops that reflect the authenticity of the cultural heritage, consolidate national identity, and contribute to preserving the intangible cultural heritage and ensuring its circulation across generations.
