Food baskets
And yesterday, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid distributed (1,650) food baskets and (1,650) cartons of dates to Syrian and Palestinian refugees and the host community in the village of Aramoun in Mount Lebanon Governorate, and Akkar Governorate in the Republic of Lebanon, benefiting from them. (8,250) individuals, as part of two projects distributing food aid to support the most needy families, and distributing dates in the Lebanese Republic.
The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid also distributed (2,000) cartons of dates yesterday in Shikan locality in the state of North Kordofan in Sudan, from which (8,048) individuals benefited, within a project distributing (267) tons of dates in the Republic of Sudan.
Aid In-kind
The day before yesterday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed (750) food baskets in Kanem State in the Republic of Chad, from which (4,500) individuals from the most needy groups benefited, as part of the project to provide in-kind aid in the Republic of Chad.
This comes within the framework of the relief and humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center to many needy and affected countries and peoples around the world.
