المملكة: During Ramadan.. the readiness of the Kingdom’s airports for the peak Umrah season

Airports Holding raised the readiness of its operational system in The Kingdom’s airports in preparation for receiving the guests of God and travelers during the month of Ramadan and the Umrah Peak for the year 1447 AH, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency of operations and provide a smooth travel experience around the clock.
The operational readiness plans include intensifying field follow-up, raising the efficiency of movement management inside the terminals, in addition to enhancing technical solutions and digital services in a way that contributes to speeding up procedures and reducing waiting times for travelers.
Airports Holding confirmed that these efforts come as an extension of its role in managing the operation of 27 airports in various regions of the Kingdom through its companies.
Raising security and safety readiness
The plans include raising security and safety readiness, activating emergency response plans, enhancing the efficiency of support services, in addition to developing operational and communication coordination mechanisms, real-time monitoring of the progress of operations, sensing risks, predicting crises and addressing them in a way that supports business continuity and improves the quality of service provided to travelers.
Airports Holding continues to implement many development and operational initiatives aimed at raising the efficiency of airport infrastructure and improving the level of services, and enable the growth of travel traffic in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and enhance the ability of the Kingdom’s airports to accommodate the growing increase in the number of passengers during the different seasons.

Airports Holding oversees the operation of 27 airports in the Kingdom through its subsidiaries (Riyadh Airports, Jeddah Airports, Dammam Airports, and the second airport cluster), and through this it seeks to develop the airport infrastructure and improve the quality Services, in line with the objectives of the aviation programme, emanating from the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics, one of the outcomes of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
