المملكة: Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.. Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathlin honors the winners of the King Salman Award for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an

Under the auspices of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – honored the wife of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathlin, yesterday evening, Thursday, a ceremony honoring the winners of the local competition on King Salman Award bin Abdulaziz To memorize, recite and interpret the Holy Qur’an in its 27th session, which was organized and supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in the city of Riyadh.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a visual presentation that reviewed the progress of the competition and the support it received from the wise leadership – may God support it – and the efforts made by the Ministry in organizing and supervising it, in a way that contributes to encouraging the sons and daughters of the nation to Demand for the Book of God by memorization, recitation and interpretation.

Bright examples from the daughters of the nation

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, General Supervisor of the General Secretariat of the local and international Holy Quran Competition, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh delivered a speech via video screens, in which he stressed that honoring bright models of the nation’s daughters whom God has honored by memorizing the Qur’an and reciting it well, embodies the depth of the message that the Kingdom undertakes in building humanity on the guidance of the Holy Qur’an, and connecting young people to it in memorization, understanding, work and behavior.

He explained that this competition, which bears the name of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, is sponsored by him and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – represents an extension of a well-established approach in serving the Holy Qur’an and its people, and harnessing all capabilities to care for its memorizers and encourage them, stressing that the leadership’s care for the Holy Qur’an reflects the constants of this country and its approach based on moderation and moderation.

He indicated that the current session witnessed a wide turnout from various regions of the Kingdom, as more than 3,600 male and female contestants participated in its preliminary qualifiers, some of whom qualified. 129 to the final stage, within a precise arbitration system under the supervision of specialized committees, and the total prizes amounted to 7 million riyals, in support and motivation for those who have memorized the Book of God and to encourage them to continue this path.

Honorable models of mastery and good recitation

The Minister of Islamic Affairs congratulated the winners for the honor of receiving this honor in a competition bearing the name of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God protect him -, praising the honorable examples they presented in Mastery and good recitation, stressing that this victory is a great responsibility before it is an honor, calling on them to continue to pay attention to the Book of God by memorizing, contemplating and working, to have the morals of the Qur’an, and to make what they have learned a way of life and behavior translated into their words and deeds, so that they may be ambassadors of the Qur’an in their families and society, and good role models for the daughters of the nation in adhering to tolerant Islamic values.

He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness. Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathlin for honoring the ceremony and honoring the winners, their Highnesses and Excellencies in attendance, and the members of the women’s judging committee for their sincere efforts, asking God Almighty to preserve this country and its rulers, and to maintain security and stability in it.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the wife of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques honored the first-place winners in the six branches of the competition, and also honored the members of the women’s judging committee with shields. A memorial in appreciation of their efforts.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, a number of women interested in the sciences of the Holy Qur’an, and mothers of participants in the competition.
