The camel auction crowns the winners at the closing leg of the 19th Al Dhafra Festival

Al Dhafra, 4 January / WAM / The organizing committee of the 19th edition of the Al Dhafra Festival today crowned the winners of the camel competition in the Sin Al Haqayeq rounds for the local and Al Majahim camels, as part of the activities of the final leg of the festival, which continues until January 22, in Madinat Zayed in the Al Dhafra region of Abu Dhabi, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.

His Excellency Khalifa Suhail Al Mazrouei, guest of honor of the auction, and His Excellency Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of the Festivals and Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, crowned the winners of the competitions, amid a large presence of camel owners, lovers of heritage auctions, and visitors to the auction.

The results in the Partners’ Facts – Local round resulted in “Himya” won by its owner Hamid Abdullah Muhammad Al-Qurini in first place, and “Mafnouda” by its owner Abdullah Muhammad Abdullah Al-Saadi came in second place, while third place went to “Aryam” by its owner Muhammad Hamad Qammad Al-Mansouri.

In the Partners’ Haqeqiq – Majahim race, “His Highness” won first place for its owner Misfer Ajab Misfer Al Ajab Al Marri, and “Dates” for its owner Saleh Mohsen Saleh Mabkhout Al Minhali came in second place, and “Zayama” for its owner Fahd Rashid Fahd Al Natifat won third place.

The first place in the Haqaqiq Talad round for tribal people 2 – Local went to “Al-Amrah” owned by Saleh Juwayed Salem Al-Mansouri, and “Jamra” came in second place to its owner Saleh Rashid Saleh Hassan Al-Mahri, while third place went to “Al-Andalus” owned by Ali Salem Obaid Hayai Al-Mansouri.

The results in the Haqaqiq Talad race for the people of the tribes 2 – Majahim resulted in “Al-Qa’udah” won by its owner Faisal Muhammad Saeed Hamad Abu Sala’ah in first place, and in second place was won by “Al-Ashwa” by its owner Muhammad Awad Naji Aida Al-Menhali, while third place went to “Munifah” by its owner Fatima Saeed Salem Al-Menhali.

The first place in the main round was “Talad Facts for Tribesmen 1 Symbol – Local” “Dhabi Al Fala” owned by Abdulaziz Muhammad Ayed Ali Al Qahtani, “Wasm” came in second place owned by Sultan Muhammad Saeed Hassan Al Minhali, and “Samha” won third place owned by Khaled Muhammad Saeed Ali Al Rashidi.

In the main race, Haqaqiq Talad for Tribesmen 1 Ramz – Majahim won first place, “Khanouf” owned by Mubarak Muhammad bin Qaran Al Mansouri, and second place went to “Qaouda Ibn Ubayan” owned by Mubarak Dahim Ubayan Al Twal Al Dosari, while third place was taken by “Ma’roufa” owned by Saad Mabkhout Al Maqaba Al Dosari.

This morning, the camels entered the Haqaiq races for the tribesmen “Tilad 3, Talad 4, and Talad 5” for the Local and Majahim categories, and the results of the competitions will be announced tomorrow, “Monday,” at four o’clock in the afternoon at the camel auction platform in Madinat Zayed, through the “Our Heritage” platforms of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, and through the Baynounah Channel and Al Dhafra Festival Radio 90.1 FM in the vicinity.
