The visit program included a number of prominent stations within the Diriyah Season, as the Minister of Tourism reviewed the program "Are the shortcomings?"which opened the doors of a number of historical palaces for the first time to visitors in Diriyah, providing a qualitative cultural experience that highlights the symbolism of each palace, and narrates stages of Saudi history in a visual and architectural framework that reflects the depth of the place.
The visit included a program "Al-Huwayt"which embodies the spirit of Diriyah through various cultural and entertainment experiences, combining live artistic performances, interactive activities, and cultural scenes, in a way that reflects the identity of the place and gives the visitor an integrated experience.
Program "Diriyah Nights"
The minister was briefed on the programme "Diriyah Nights"which includes a group of local and international restaurants and cafes, in addition to cultural artistic performances, in a nightly experience that celebrates authenticity and Saudi hospitality, and presents a model that combines history and modernity.
The visit concluded with a program "Home"which offers an open cultural experience inspired by Saudi values, and blends handicrafts, storytelling, and hospitality, in a natural environment that enhances interaction with heritage in a contemporary manner.
Saudi Winter Program
The visit of the Minister of Tourism for the 25/26 Diriyah season comes within the framework of his efforts to support the activities of the season as one of the qualitative tourism and cultural projects in the Kingdom, in addition to enhancing the qualitative development that the season is witnessing in its various experiences, the quality of implementation of its programs, and its ability to provide an experience that expresses Diriyah’s identity.
It is noteworthy that the visit of the Minister of Tourism comes within the framework of the Saudi Winter Programme, which is held under the slogan "Winter neighborhood"It aims to highlight the diversity of tourism components in various regions of the Kingdom, and to enhance the presence of national destinations, allowing tourists from inside and outside the Kingdom the opportunity to discover various tourist experiences and destinations.
