Equestrian Hamda Al Ali wins the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Cup

DUBAI, 10 JANUARY / WAM / Equestrian woman Hamda Jassim Al Ali, from “Al Bawadi 3” stables, was crowned in the His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Cup race, for a distance of 160 km, which was held today, at the conclusion of the 19th edition of the His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Festival, and hosted by the Dubai International Endurance City in Saih Al Salam over a period of 5 days, organized by the Dubai Equestrian Club and in cooperation With the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation.

Hamda Al Ali, riding SW Henkel, succeeded in winning first place in the race held under the sponsorship of Emirates Airlines, in which 170 male and female riders participated, recording a time of 6:14:19 hours.

The jockey Maitha Mohammed Al Qubaisi from the “F3” stables came in second place on the “Casino” horseback, recording a time of 6:14:55 hours, and the third place came in the jockey Mansour Saeed Al Farsi from the MRM Stables on the “Tatarino” horseback, recording a time of 06:15:22 hours.

Following the conclusion of the competitions, Sheikh Rashid bin Dalmuk Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Equestrian Club, crowned the champions who won the first three places, in the presence of Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, Adel Al Ghaith, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for the Gulf, Middle East and Central Asia Region at Emirates Airlines, Dr. Ghanem Al Hajri, Secretary General of the Equestrian and Racing Federation, and Ahmed Rashid Al Kaabi, General Manager of the Dubai Equestrian Club.
