Launched Al-Firdaws Association for Honoring the Dead in Qatif, today, launched its new strategic project represented in the “transportation of the dead between regions” service, with the aim of facilitating the procedures for transporting bodies to and from the governorate, and linking them to the various regions and cities of the Kingdom, such as Riyadh, Al-Ahsa, and others, through its approved electronic platform to ensure speedy response and alleviate the burden on the families of the deceased.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Hafez Al-Faraj, confirmed that this project comes in response to the urgent need to provide safe and fast transportation services for funerals, indicating that the service has become Available immediately via The association’s online store, to cover deaths that occur outside the residence of the deceased, whether the transportation is from Qatif to abroad or vice versa.

Al-Faraj explained that the initiative aims to provide logistical and moral support to the families of the deceased in the most difficult circumstances, through the association assuming the burden of coordination and transportation with equipped vehicles, which embodies the association’s message of consolation, standing by the community, and meeting its urgent needs with the highest standards of professionalism and speed.

The “Firdaus” strategy focuses on raising community awareness of the legal rulings on funerals, and qualifying specialized competencies to work in centers honoring the dead, in addition to enhancing the community culture about the etiquette and system of cemeteries, including It brings peace to the families of the deceased and preserves the dignity of the departed.

The association called on all members of society to benefit from the services of the new project and support it to ensure its sustainability, stressing that this step is part of an integrated system that aims to reduce the financial and procedural burdens on the bereaved families from the moment the death is announced until the burial of the body.
