A session at the Dubai Project Management Forum reviews issues of artificial intelligence, sustainability and resilience
DUBAI, January 14, 2017 (WAM) – Ike Nwankwo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Project Management Institute, confirmed that future management directions for the success of any project focus on the importance of combining advanced technologies in artificial intelligence and data analysis, agile and flexible methodologies, and sustainability, and the necessity of the owner and team being distinguished by personal skills, competencies, and capabilities that qualify them to face the challenges and changes that may arise in the labor market.
During a session entitled: “Future trends in project management” within the activities of the Dubai International Project Management Forum, moderated by media personality Nimmi Mehta, Nwankwo called for the importance of adopting a number of practices that focus on value and not just outputs in managing and making projects successful, through “project mechanics” and management and developing smart and automated process frameworks that ensure the sustainability of their success and excellence in all stages of planning and implementation and the continuation of excellence.
Nwankwo said that increasing cybersecurity and adopting hybrid management in dealing with variables also comes at the forefront of matters related to future directions for successful project management, pointing out the importance of focusing on providing the human element with modern administrative skills and working to develop the performance of employees and graduate from management to leadership, by training them in new and innovative practical skills.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Project Management Institute expressed his happiness at presenting a session within the activities of the Dubai International Project Management Forum, considering that the event has become a wonderful opportunity to learn about many different experiences, expertise and models from project managers, specialists and workers in this field from all over the world who came to consult about the opportunities available to companies and officials to make their businesses successful, in a gathering that consolidates Dubai’s position and excellence in hosting and holding major events and events.
