The Head of State receives a written message from the Prime Minister of Japan delivered by the Special Envoy
Abu Dhabi, 15 January / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today a written message from His Excellency Sanae Takaichi, Prime Minister of Japan, related to strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
This came during His Highness’s reception – at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi – His Excellency Ishiba Shigeru, the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy and Chairman of the Japan-UAE Parliamentary Friendship Association, who delivered the message.
During the meeting, His Excellency conveyed to His Highness the Prime Minister’s greetings and her wishes for continued progress for the UAE, while His Highness conveyed to him his greetings to His Excellency Sanae Takaichi and his wishes for Japan and its friendly people further prosperity.
The meeting touched on the relations of the two countries and ways to enhance them for the benefit of their peoples, in addition to the importance of the role of parliamentary diplomacy in enhancing cooperation, communication, rapprochement, and consolidating common values among the peoples of the world.
The meeting was attended by: His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of ministers and senior state officials.
