Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid witnesses the conclusion of the competitions of the second edition of the Fazza Cup for falcon racing in Talwah

This morning, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum witnessed the conclusion of the competitions of the second edition of the Fazza Cup for falconry races in Talwah over a distance of 400 meters, which was held in Lahbab Square, affiliated with the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center in Dubai.
His Highness crowned the winners in the three categories of the cup, namely the sheikhs category, the general owners category, and the general open category, where the competitions were held across 6 various rounds, witnessing advanced technical levels and strong competition among the participants, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the International Federation of Falcon Sports and Racing, the Secretary-General of the Emirates Falcons Federation, Rashid bin Markhan, and members of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Falcons Federation, Dimithan Suwaidan Saeed Al Qamzi, and Muhammad Issa. His Highness listened to a detailed explanation from Rashid bin Markhan about the most prominent features of the event and the qualification system for competing in the cup, in addition to the increased interest that accompanied the tournament in its second edition, which witnessed a remarkable development in performance and distinguished results.
His Highness crowned the winners in a scene that drew joy and happiness on the faces of falconers, and carried profound connotations that reflect the distinguished status of the sport of falconry, and the interest of the wise leadership in this authentic heritage sport, which is deeply rooted in the conscience of the people of the Emirates, and which continues to rise to the highest levels, achieving sustainable and unprecedented achievements at various levels.
In a speech addressed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the falconers after the conclusion of the competitions, His Highness confirmed that the Fazza Cup for Falconry Racing continues its success in its second edition, recording record numbers and great developments, especially since it was held in appreciation of the prominent role of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, in supporting this sport. And improving all its components, based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, President of the International Federation of Falcon Sports and Racing, and President of the Emirates Falcons Federation.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum took a souvenir photo with the winning falconers, at the conclusion of the second edition of the Fazza Cup for falconry racing.
For his part, Rashid bin Markhan expressed his thanks and gratitude for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honoring this edition, and His Highness’s keenness to follow the Cup competitions for the second year in a row, and to crown falconers and congratulate them on their efforts to achieve the best results in this major sporting event.
Bin Markhan added that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in addition to the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Vice President of the International Federation of Falcon Sports and Racing, and Vice President of the Emirates Falcons Federation, had a great impact on the success of the tournament and its emergence in this honorable manner, deservingly strengthening its position on the national sports agenda annually, despite its recent organization.
Khalifa bin Mejren, Director of the F3 Falcon Racing Team, expressed his pride in winning the Fazza Cup for Falcon Racing, and achieving first and third places in the Sheikh category (Gair Shaheen and Gair Tabab), after a strong competition between all participants, seeking to win first places and climb to the podium.
The falcons in the chick category (Gir Shaheen, Gir Taba, Pure Gir, and Garmosha), who won the first three places in the Fazza falconry championships by talwah in the symbol and golden burqa rounds, in addition to the first place holder in the cash rounds, qualified to compete for the Fazza Cup for falconry races, with a total prize pool of 2,800,000 dirhams.
In the first half of the sheikh category (Pure Gear and Qarmousha), the F3-S won first place with its falcon (G41) with a time of 16.121 seconds, while Al-Nif-J came in second place with its falcon (js11) with a time of 16.256 seconds, and Al-Nif achieved third place with its falcon (NF75) with a time of 16.372 seconds.
F3 also achieved first place in the second half competitions of the Sheikhs category (Gir Shaheen and Gir Taba), with its falcon (75) with a time of 16.310 seconds, while F3-S came in second place with its falcon (S35) with a time of 16.325 seconds, and F3 took third place with its falcon (266) with a time of 16.577 seconds.
In the first half of the general open category (Pure Gear and Qarmousha Farkh), Hamdan Issa Khalfan Kharbash won first place with his falcon “You Didn’t See” with a time of 16.897 seconds, and the Meydan team came second with its falcon “B19” with a time of 17.109 seconds, while the Dubai team came third with its falcon “Mushrif 4” with a time of 17.163 seconds.

As for the second half of the general open category (Gir Shaheen and Gir Taba Farkh), Abdullah Khalfan Butti Salem Al Qubaisi won first place with his falcon “Masoor” with a time of 16.301 seconds. He also won third place with his falcon “Mabhar” with a time of 16.872 seconds, while the Dubai team came in second with its falcon “R16” with a time of 16.819 seconds.
In the third round competitions for the General Malak category (Pure Gear and Qarmousha Farkh), Abdullah Nasser Salem Saqr Al Mansouri achieved first place with his falcon “Tashrif” with a time of 17.511 seconds, and Ahmed Ali bin Hamouda came in second place with his falcon “69” with a time of 17.561 seconds, while Juma Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed Al Falahi took third place with his falcon “AW” with a time 17.610 seconds.
Hamad Ali Hamad Al-Hafri Al-Ketbi was also crowned first place in the fourth round of the general angel category (Gir Shaheen and Gir Taba Farkh), with his falcon “Nashmi” with a time of 17.488 seconds, and Muhammad Khalfan Muhammad Ali Al-Mansouri came second with his falcon (S09) with a time of 17.499 seconds, while Ahmed Atiq Muhammad Ali bin Hindi Al-Muhairi came third with his falcon (S56) with a time 17.636 seconds.
