المملكة: Urgent: Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of supporters of Yemen, second in the world and first in the Arab world in providing aid
achieved The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranks second globally and first in the Arab world among donor countries in providing Humanitarian and relief aid for the year 2025 AD, according to the United Nations Financial Tracking Platform (FTS), and ranked first among countries donors to humanitarian aid provided to the Republic of Yemen, equivalent to (49.3%) of the total aid provided to Yemen.
While it ranked second among countries donors to aid provided to the Syrian Arab Republic, and achieved second place in providing development aid according to the newly issued report for the year 2024 AD for the 16 non-member donor countries, and ranked tenth among the 48 member and non-member donor countries in providing development aid, according to the volume of aid.
The advisor to the Royal Court, general supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah said that the Kingdom’s leadership in the global humanitarian scene came as a result of the unlimited support that humanitarian and relief work receives from the wise leadership – may God support it – and reflects the values of giving and charity that the Kingdom and its people are endowed with, noting that this achievement comes as a translation of the Kingdom’s bright history of giving, and its keenness to extend a helping hand to all peoples and countries in need in the world, keeping in mind Human life and dignity.
Saudi Aid Platform
Dr. Al-Rabiah explained that these numbers were documented first-hand in international platforms through "Saudi aid platform" Which is the largest aid platform in the region. This institutional approach, supported by the insightful vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the follow-up of His Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince – may God protect them – and in coordination with the relevant Saudi authorities, contributes to achieving a tangible global impact, which had the greatest role in the Kingdom achieving these advanced positions in the international classifications for providing humanitarian aid.
At the conclusion of his statement, he stressed that the Kingdom is an inexhaustible river of giving and a beacon of goodness, and will continue its approach to helping… The needy and affected people in all parts of the world, under the guidance, follow-up and support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince – may God protect them -, calling on the Lord – the Almighty – to perpetuate the blessing of security, safety, prosperity and prosperity to our dear homeland and to preserve its wise leadership.
