The truth about the death of a security man due to the riot in the African Cup of Nations final

The General Directorate of National Security in Morocco denied that there were any deaths as a result of a criminal attack on a security personnel during the African final.
Reports published online claimed that there was an alleged death in which a security officer was killed at Prince Moulay Abdullah Stadium in Rabat.
A report from the directorate explained that the National Security Services: “No death was recorded for a member of the private security, nor among those charged with collecting balls, nor did any procedures for examining the body of a person who died due to events related to sports riots be initiated, and these are data that were confirmed after reviewing various health institutions.”
It concluded: “While the National Security Services refute this false and misleading news and have sought instructions regarding opening judicial investigations to uncover those involved in publishing and disseminating it, for the purpose of determining responsibilities and arranging legal sanctions.”
Morocco, the host country, lost 1-0 to Senegal in a match full of exciting events after extra time on Sunday evening.
The match witnessed an incomplete attempt by Senegalese players to withdraw, in addition to clashes between groups of Teranga Lions fans and the security of the Prince Moulay Abdullah stadium.
