Federation Cup draw… 14 teams competing for the title

Today, Tuesday, at its headquarters in Dubai, the Emirates Football Association held the drawing ceremony for the Federation Cup draw, as well as the draw for the Emirates Futsal Cup for the 2025-2026 sports season.

The draw for the Federation Cup determined the matches of the tournament, starting from the round of 32 until the final match, where the competitions are held in a single-match knockout system, and if the original time ends in a tie, penalty kicks are resorted directly to determine the winning team.

The Round of 32 matches will be held on February 10 and 11, with the participation of 14 teams who qualified from the preliminary qualifiers held last November, in addition to three teams that qualified directly through the qualifying draw, in addition to all 15 First Division clubs.

The winning teams qualify for the quarter-finals scheduled to be held on March 2 and 3, while the quarter-finals will be held on March 11, and the semi-finals will be held on April 1, with the final match being held on April 29.

The draw ceremony was witnessed by Ibrahim Hassan Al-Nimr, a member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Football Association and Chairman of the Futsal Committee.

The ceremony began with the drawing of the draw for the Emirates Futsal Cup, where the participating teams were divided into two groups; The first group included: Al-Yarmouk, Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, Khor Fakkan, and Al-Bataeh clubs, while the second group included: Shabab Al-Ahly, Kalba, and Dibba Al-Hisn.

The matches of the first round of the Emirates Futsal Cup will be held next February 20, 24 and 28 in a one-round league system, and the first and second place finishers in each group qualify for the semi-finals, which will be held in a home-and-away system on March 4 and 7, with the winners meeting in the final match in a home-and-away system on March 10 and 13.
