A busy sports week at the Dubai Water Sports Festival… 4 events and valuable prizes

The Dubai International Marine Sports Club is organizing the “Dubai Water Sports Festival”, which includes a successive series of 4 events during the current week, which will be full of competition and diverse sporting activity, which will be held with wide participation from various nationalities, including citizens and residents of the United Arab Emirates, and visitors coming to participate in these competitions.
The activities began on Wednesday, and are currently continuing with the second round of the Dubai Kite Surf Competition, which will be held on Jebel Ali Beach until next Sunday.
On Friday and Saturday, January 23 and 24, the Dubai Aquabike Race competitions will be held, which will witness the participation of elite athletes on Jebel Ali Beach, with financial prizes amounting to 351 thousand dirhams.
The conclusion will be next Sunday at Jumeirah Beach, with the Dubai Kayak Fishing Competition, and the second round of the Dubai Stand-up Paddling and Kayak Race.
Director of the Sports Affairs Department at the Dubai International Marine Club, Mohammed Al Marri, expressed his pride that Dubai is a global destination for marine activities at this time of the year during the winter, which encourages the club to hold these various events successively in light of the great demand for participation from inside and outside the country, in addition to the great success achieved by the “Dubai Marine Day” event last week, which presented us with promising talents and levels. We look forward to repeating the competition between them in hoverboard and kayak competitions, in addition to the great anticipation for the Dubai Race. For jet skis, which includes an elite group of the strongest and best racers, and we look forward to watching a strong and beautiful competition on the beaches of Dubai.
Al Marri confirmed in press statements that registration is still open to receive applications for participation in these competitions, with registration continuing electronically to ensure ease and speed of completing procedures, and checking all conditions to ensure transparency among all participants, while the organizing work teams were keen to complete all arrangements at the two competition sites in cooperation with the various success partners.
The holding of these events comes within the framework of the work of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, in accordance with the strategic plan 2025-2027, which aims to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global destination for marine sports and supports continuous efforts in developing sports and community activities and events and nurturing talent, in addition to expanding the scope of marine sports, advertising and adding more competitions.
