" UAE-India Business Council"Launches the 2026 program to support strategic cooperation with India
Dubai, January 22 / WAM / The UAE-India Business Council launched the 2026 program to support strategic cooperation with India, building on the momentum achieved last year.
The map is based on three main axes, including knowledge building, strategic facilitation, and direct communication. It includes the preparation of a series of applied research papers focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence, infrastructure, the role of sovereign wealth funds, consumer behavior, and supply chains, in addition to joint projects on the African continent.
2025 witnessed the organization of the first edition of the India-UAE Partners in Progress conference, which brought together senior policymakers, investors and business leaders, in addition to holding a closed strategic meeting in Dubai with the Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, which strengthened consensus on common economic policies and priorities.
They made progress in the Emirati-Indian Friendship Hospital project under the leadership of the founding trustees and members of the Council, which reflects the Council’s commitment to supporting social infrastructure and health care projects, in addition to enhancing its educational and social agenda through the Dream School project in Kashmir, which aims to expand educational opportunities and develop skills.
The Council is leading a series of dialogues and mutual trade missions between the two countries to support cooperation in priority sectors, including advanced manufacturing, clean energy, financial technology, and innovation in health care, which contributes to achieving the goal of raising the volume of bilateral trade and investment exchange to two hundred billion dollars.
As part of its future agenda, the Council will share its experiences at the World Government Summit 2026, stressing its role as a link between political vision and economic implementation and supporting the path of a renewed strategic partnership between the UAE and India.
