Dubai Water Sports Festival crowns kitesurfing champions

The Dubai International Marine Sports Club crowned the winners of the second round of the Dubai Kite Surf Competition, which was held on Jebel Ali Beach as part of the Dubai Water Sports Festival, which continues daily with wide participation from marine sports enthusiasts from inside and outside the country.
The winners were crowned by Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, Mohammed Hareb, and Director of the Club’s Sports Affairs Department, Mohammed Al Marri, at the conclusion of the kitesurfing competitions, which extended with great excitement over two days full of strong levels.
In the most prominent results, Mohammed Obaid excelled in the “Twin Tip” category, achieving first place, followed by Anschka Daniel from Sri Lanka in second place, and Polish Casper Szczesny in third place. In the same category for women, Polish Marta Morlo achieved first place, followed by Serbian Milana Zveser in second place, and Portuguese Marta Fidalgo in third place.
In the freestyle category, American Pablo Valvorson achieved first place, followed by Kuwaiti Abdullah Al-Gharabali in second place, then Egyptian Hossam Al-Sayed in third place, and in the same category for women, Polish Marta Morlo achieved first place, followed by Portuguese Marta Fidalgo in second place, and Serbian Milana Zveser in third place.
In the “Wing Foil” category, Bulgarian Kenan Orosi Erosi came in first place, Frenchman Pierre Courson came in second place, and American Quincy Radowski came in third place.

The activities of the Dubai Water Sports Festival continue, with the final round being held today for the Dubai Water Bike Race, which witnesses intense competition between an elite group of the brightest and best riders on Jebel Ali Beach, with financial prizes amounting to 351 thousand dirhams.
The organizing committee held an enlightening meeting for the participants, before the start of the qualifiers that were held today, Friday, in light of which the best performers in the various categories qualified for the final rounds, the activities of which will be broadcast live on Dubai Sports channels, and through the accounts of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, to reach the wide segment of fans of this type of sport that is characterized by adventure and high skill.
The conclusion will be tomorrow, Sunday, at Jumeirah Beach, with the Dubai Kayak Fishing Competition, and the second round of the Dubai Stand-up Paddling and Kayak Race will be held.

Mohammed Hareb: We aim to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global destination for marine sports
Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, Mohammed Hareb, stressed his pride that Dubai is a global destination for marine activities at this time of the year during the winter, which encourages the club to hold these various events successively in light of the great demand for participation from inside and outside the country, in addition to the great success achieved by the “Dubai Marine Day” event last week, which presented us with promising talents and levels. We look forward to repeating the competition between them in hoverboard and kayak competitions, in addition to the great anticipation for the race. Dubai Jet Ski, which includes an elite group of the strongest and best racers, and we look forward to watching a strong and beautiful competition on the beaches of Dubai.
Al Marri stressed that registration is still open to receive applications to participate in these competitions, with registration continuing electronically to ensure ease and speed of completing procedures, and checking all conditions to ensure transparency among all participants, while the organizing work teams were keen to complete all arrangements at the two competition sites in cooperation with the various success partners.
The holding of these events comes within the framework of the work of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, in accordance with the strategic plan 2025-2027, which aims to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global destination for marine sports and supports continuous efforts in developing sports and community activities and events and nurturing talent, in addition to expanding the scope of marine sports, advertising and adding more competitions.
