The Minister of Education, Sarah bint Youssef Al Amiri, confirmed that the UAE views education as a national priority and a major driver of the comprehensive development process.

Al Amiri said on the occasion of International Education Day, which falls on January 24 of each year, that the UAE has adopted an integrated educational vision that focuses on building humanity and developing a flexible and innovative educational system that keeps pace with the requirements of the future and is based on the latest global practices, while preserving the national identity and Emirati values.

She added that International Education Day represents a global occasion to emphasize the pivotal role of education in building human beings and advancing nations, noting that education was and remains the basic pillar of progress, and a tool for societies in creating their future, enhancing their competitive capabilities, and consolidating the values ​​of sustainable development and peace.
