An Egyptian football player died due to violent interference

Egyptian football stadiums witnessed a painful incident this evening, as Al-Bakari Youth Center announced the death of its player, Louay Ali, after suffering a fatal injury during his team’s match against Sheikh Zayed Club in the Fourth Division League.

The center confirmed the death of Louay Ali, as a result of his injury, as the match witnessed a violent and strong intervention by the Sheikh Zayed team’s goalkeeper towards the player, which resulted in a direct and serious injury that led to a perforation in the stomach, which required him to enter the operating room for urgent surgery, before he breathed his last.

Al-Bakari Youth Center achieved victory over its counterpart, Sheikh Zayed, with two goals to none, in the 16th round competitions, in the second group of the Giza Region League, in the fourth division league, but the victory turned into a funeral after the news of the death was announced.
