The UAE national team defeats Al-Nasr…and takes the lead in the “Dubai Basketball”

The UAE basketball national team achieved its third consecutive victory in the Dubai International Championship group tournament, after defeating Al-Nasr, with a score of (101-90), today, Monday, for the first group competitions, in the tournament currently being held at Al-Nasr Club Hall, and extending until the first of next February.
The round also witnessed, for the account of the same group, the victory of the Syrian Al-Wahda over the Libyan Al-Ittihad by a score of (96-91).
The national team increased its lead in the overall standings of Group A with a full score and 6 points, while Al-Nasr suffered its third loss in a row, leaving it in fifth place with three points.
To achieve its victory, the national team needed to gain the advantage with the results of the first and second quarters, and then the fourth quarter (25-23, 26-17, and 30-27), while the “Al-Ameed” players were content with gaining the advantage with the results of the third quarter (23-20).
