The Football Association awards international badges to stadium judges for the year 2026

Yesterday evening, at its headquarters in Dubai, the UAE Football Association handed over the international badges to the approved football referees and referees for the year 2026, in the presence of the Second Vice President of the Football Association, Obaid Salem Al Shamsi, and a member of the Board of Directors, Vice Chairman of the Referees Committee, Hamad Ahmed Al Mazrouei.

The list of international referees for this year included an elite group of refereeing competencies, including 7 field referees, 9 assistant referees, 3 field of play referees, and 7 video technology (VAR) referees, in addition to 3 referees and one referee for futsal, and two referees for beach soccer.

The UAE Football Association congratulated the male and female referees on receiving international badges, stressing that this achievement embodies the continuous support of the Board of Directors and the tireless work of the Referees Committee in developing performance and raising the level of referees in accordance with the highest standards approved by the Asian and International Federations, wishing them continued success.

The list of referees who received international badges included:

Arena referees: Omar Al Ali, Adel Al-Naqbi, Ahmed Issa Darwish, Yahya Al-Mulla, Sultan Muhammad Saleh, Muhammad Al-Harmoudi, Suhail Al-Mulla.

Assistant referees: Mohammed Ahmed Yousef, Jassim Abdullah, Ahmed Al Rashidi, Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Sabt Obaid, Saeed Al Marzouqi, Yasser Sabeel, Mohammed Hussein Al Mazmi, Amer Abdullah Hassan.

Video referees (VAR): Adel Al Naqbi, Omar Al Ali, Mohammed Obaid Khadem, Saqr Al Zaabi, Issa Khalifa, Ahmed Al Naqbi, Sultan Abdul Razzaq.

Futsal referees: Fahd Badr Al Hosani, Ahmed Al Ghais, Hamad Abdullah Al Naqbi.

Beach soccer referees: Ibrahim Al-Raisi, Nawaf Ahmed.

Referees: Kholoud Al Zaabi, Rawda Al Mansouri (court), Amal Jamal (assistant), Najat Al Balushi (futsal referee).
