The Tunisian African and the Lebanese Beirut qualified, completing the quartet in the Dubai International Basketball semi-final

Dubai, January 30 / WAM / The contract for the teams qualifying for the semi-finals of the Dubai International Basketball Championship in its 35th edition has been completed, after the Tunisian African and Lebanese Beirut teams qualified for the golden square of the tournament currently being held at the Rashid bin Hamdan Hall in Al Nasr Club.
Africa’s qualification came after its victory over Al-Nasr with a score of 93-68 in the quarter-final match that brought them together today, while Beirut reserved its place in the semi-finals after defeating Al-Wahda with a score of 79-66 in the same round.
Al-Africa and Beirut joined the UAE national team and the Libyan team Al-Ittihad, which had qualified for the semi-finals yesterday.
The two semi-final matches are scheduled to be held tomorrow, with Beirut of Lebanon meeting Africain of Tunisia, at six in the evening, while the UAE national team will face its counterpart, Al-Ittihad of Libya, at eight in the evening, with the two winners qualifying for the final match scheduled for next Sunday, which will be preceded by a third-place match between the two losing teams.
