The UAE stands in solidarity with the Democratic Republic of the Congo and offers its condolences to the victims of the mine collapse

Abu Dhabi, February 1, 2017: The UAE expressed its solidarity with the friendly Democratic Republic of the Congo, as a result of a mine collapse in the town of Rubaya, east of the country, which resulted in the death of a number of people.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and to the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its friendly people in this painful tragedy.
