“Al Habtoor” and “Dubai Wolves” impose dominance in “Dubai Polo Gold”

The Al Habtoor and Dubai Wolves teams achieved two major victories over the Ghantoot and Jahangiri teams on the second day of the 2026 Dubai Polo Gold Cup Championship, which is currently being held on the grounds of the Al Habtoor Polo and Equestrian Club and Resort, and continues until February 14, with the participation of six clubs: Emirates, Al Habtoor, Ghantoot, Dubai Wolves, Bangash, and Jahangiri, with an average of 20 handicap.
Mohammed Al Habtoor led his team against Ghantoot, led by Ali Al Marri, where Al Habtoor imposed his control from the beginning, leading by three unanswered goals in the first half, and adding the fourth goal in the second half.
In the third half, Ghantoot returned strongly, scoring four consecutive goals to equalize, before the brilliant Boyagar restored the lead for Al Habtoor at the end of the fifth half, scoring his fifth goal in the match.
When play resumed, Al Habtoor regained control thanks to team play, ending the match with a score of 10 goals to 5, achieving a well-deserved victory with a “double score.”
In the second match, the Dubai Wolves team, led by Habtoor Al Habtoor, continued its strong performances, beating the Jahangiri team, led by Mohammed Jahangiri. The first half ended in a draw (1-1), before the Wolves imposed their control in the second half by scoring three goals, raising the score to (4-1).
“Jahangiri” succeeded in reducing the difference during the third half, but “Dubai Wolves” responded strongly, scoring three additional goals in the fourth and fifth halves, so that the match ended with the Wolves winning 8 goals to 6.
