Emirati bicycle achievement: Hamid Mehrab, Asian champion, and Moza Al Mansouri, “runner-up”

Emirates cycling team cyclist Hamid Mehrab received the gold medal after winning first place in the masters time trial, today, Sunday, as part of the Asian cycling championship held in Al-Qassim, with the large participation of the continent’s elite riders.
Mehrab recorded a remarkable presence in the race after a strong and decisive performance that enabled him to climb the podium, adding a new achievement to the Emirati bike’s career at the continental level.
Emirati champion Moza Salem Al Mansouri achieved second place in the Masters class time trial, winning Asian silver and being crowned runner-up on the continent after an outstanding performance on the track designated for the race.
The UAE is participating in the championship with a delegation that includes an elite group of riders in the elite, under-23, youth and masters categories, amid aspirations to continue reaping positive results and confirming the presence of the Emirati bike in major continental forums.
These results constitute a strong start for the team’s participation in the tournament, and enhance ambitions for more achievements during the coming days of competition.
