Ras Al Khaimah Police adopts a new form for distinctive vehicle plates

The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, in cooperation with the Public Resources Authority in the emirate, adopted the new form of distinctive vehicle number plates, which are characterized by a modern design and advanced standards that contribute to enhancing the quality of services provided to the public. Ras Al Khaimah Police confirmed that the launch of the new form of plates does not mean replacing or changing old plates, but rather is considered a new, distinctive additional form for vehicle owners.


She explained that this launch comes as part of Ras Al Khaimah Police’s ongoing efforts to adopt development mechanisms in accordance with the best standards of excellence and leadership, and in response to future aspirations, in a way that enhances the quality of life of the community and contributes to achieving the goals of sustainable development in the emirate.


The design of the new vehicle plates relies on artistic elements that highlight the beauty of numbers and letters, through elaborate writing lines and visual harmony. The plates are distinguished by the combination of numbers and letters in an innovative way, and allow the customer to choose the appropriate letters and numbers, provided that the number of cells does not exceed (7 cells) in the distinctive plate between the letters and numbers.


The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police and the Public Resources Authority indicated that vehicle owners can obtain the new form of plates with ease, through all service centers spread throughout the emirate.
