Sharjah Cooperative allocates 35 million dirhams to support thousands of goods during Ramadan

Sharjah, February 13 / WAM / Sharjah Cooperative has allocated 35 million dirhams to support more than 10,000 basic consumer goods during the holy month of Ramadan, as part of the “Ramadan Brings Us Together” campaign.

His Excellency Majid Salem Al Junaid, CEO of Sharjah Cooperative, confirmed during a press conference held today, at Al Rahmaniyah Center in Sharjah, that the launch of the campaign comes with the aim of reducing purchasing burdens by providing food, catering and consumer goods at reasonable prices and available to everyone through more than 75 sales outlets in addition to the shopping service via the online store.

At the level of community initiatives, Al-Junaid explained that the cooperative has begun coordination with a number of charitable institutions and bodies in the country to distribute Ramadan food to beneficiary families in the form of various food baskets in conjunction with the advent of the holy month.

The holy month of Ramadan will also witness the organization of the Ramadan market in the Rahmaniyah Commercial Center throughout the month with the participation of more than 100 local projects, as the cooperative provided the opportunity for national and resident project owners in the country to display their products.
