The launch of the Abu Dhabi International Arabian Horse Championship with the participation of 369 horses

Abu Dhabi, February 14 / WAM / The activities of the Abu Dhabi International Arabian Horse Championship “Title Show” were launched yesterday evening, at the “Etihad Arena” on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 369 horses, including 114 horses from outside the country, in a remarkable official and public presence.
The tournament is held over three days, and is organized by the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, in accordance with the regulations and laws of the European Arabian Horse Competitions Organization (ECAHO), while the total value of its financial prizes is approximately 4 million euros, which reflects its position on the agenda of the Arabian horse beauty championships globally.
The activities of the first day were witnessed by His Excellency Arif Hamad Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, His Excellency Dr. Ali Hamad Al Dhaheri, Director of the Office of the Deputy President of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association and Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Championship, along with a number of owners and managers of Arabian horse studs and interested people from various countries of the world.
The first day’s competitions were full of competition, as “Palma O” from Al Sheraa Stud topped the opening round designated for yearling fillies – Section “A”, with 92.15 points, followed by “Joanna Al Remas” from Al Remas Stud with 91.05 points, while “Venicia Al Badayer” by Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi came in third with 90.90 points.
In Section B of the one-year-old filly category, “Muzn SH” by Nasser Misfer Al Hajri from Qatar won first place with 91.35 points, “Celine Al Badayer” by Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi came second with 90.95 points, while “RDS Noura” by Ajman Stud came in third with the same score.
“AD Najwa” by Hamad Adnan Al Shehhi topped the competition for two-year-old fillies – Section “A” with 91.45 points, followed by “Donia J” by Jadam Stud from Belgium with 91.30 points, while “Falwa Al Shaqab” by Al Shaqab Stud from Qatar came in third with the same score. In Section “B” for two-year-old fillies, “Ajeeba Al-Badayer” by Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi came first. With 91.60 points, it was followed by “De Niran” by the Dubai Stud with 91.15 points, and “Forlux Ebo” by the Forlux Stud from the Netherlands came third with 91.10 points.
“Sidrat Al Ghazali” from the Hanaya Stud from Switzerland topped the race for 3-year-old fillies – Section “A” with 92.15 points, followed by “Sana OS” from the Lobochnia Stud from Germany with 91.55 points, while “Wojoud Al Bahia” from the Ras Al Khaimah Stud came in third with 91.35 points.
The “B” section for 3-year-old fillies witnessed the excellence of the Emirates’ horses, after the first three places went to them, as “Asfera EE” by Rashid Ghanem Al-Hajri took first place with 91.00 points, followed by “AJ Najwa” by Khaled Al-Amiri with 90.60 points, while “Haya Al Fuhaid” by Mohammed Saeed Al-Hajri came third with the same score.
In the race for mares aged 4 years and above – Section “A”, “Shaden Yasser” by Hanaya Stud from Switzerland recorded the highest average on the first day with 92.90 points, “AJ Raseel” by Amara Stud came second with 92.05 points, while “Bint Al Jalila FN” by Fawaz Al Nabulsi from Jordan came in third with 91.35 points.
The first day’s competitions concluded with “Muzoon Al-Diriyah” by Misfar Muhammad Al-Hajri from Qatar leading the final round – Section “B” for mares aged 4 years and above, achieving 91.85 points, followed by “GMH Hajar” by Jumaa Al-Shamili with 91.55 points, while “AD Badour” by Hamad Adnan Al-Shehhi came third with 91.35 points.
The championship competitions continue, amid wide participation that reflects the diversity of stalls and the multiplicity of schools in breeding and producing Arabian horses, in an organizational atmosphere that enhances Abu Dhabi’s presence as an important international center for hosting the most prominent Arabian horse beauty championships.
