The Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested an Indian national in violation of the environmental law; For not adhering to the instructions and guidelines for preserving vegetation cover by lighting fires in places not designated for them in the Imam Faisal bin Turki Royal Reserve, and regular procedures were applied against him.

The forces confirmed that the penalty for setting fires in places other than those designated for them in forests and national parks is a fine of up to (3,000) riyals.

They urged to report any cases that represent an attack on the environment or wildlife on the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.
