المملكة: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques: The month of Ramadan is a great occasion for purifying souls and doing good deeds


Face The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – a speech to citizens and residents of the Kingdom and Muslims, on the occasion of The month of Ramadan for the year 1447 AH.

The following is the text of the speech that the Minister of Information, Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari, was honored to deliver:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to God Almighty, who said in His Noble Book, (O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you, that you may become righteous), and may blessings and peace be upon His trustworthy Messenger, and upon his family and companions. All of you.
My brothers and sisters, citizens and residents, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Muslims around the world.
May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you:
We congratulate you on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, in which the gates of Paradise are opened, and in which there is a night better than a thousand months, asking God Almighty to help us to fast, pray, and perform obedience.
We thank the Most High and Almighty Lord for what He has bestowed upon our blessed country, of It is an honor to serve the Two Holy Mosques, and the pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors who go to them, and we are continuing, with God’s help, on this consistent approach, which was followed by the kings of this country.
O Muslims:
The month of Ramadan is a great occasion for purifying souls, doing good deeds, promoting compassion and solidarity, and thanking the Almighty God for His apparent and hidden blessings.
We ask God Almighty to bless us in this holy month, and accept good deeds from us. And to maintain security and prosperity for our country, and to bless our brothers in Palestine, the Islamic nation and the entire world with peace and stability.
May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.
