المملكة: 750 individuals carry out public service work in the Two Holy Mosques during Ramadan


Public service camps for the Ramadan season of 1447 AH began their work yesterday evening, Tuesday, in both the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, which are organized and supervised by the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, with the participation of more than 750 boys, young men, and male and female scout leaders, within A volunteer program that extends until the end of the holy month.

The program aims to serve the pilgrims and worshipers, and to contribute with the concerned authorities in providing services to visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, and to benefit from qualified and trained human cadres and motivate them to serve Guests of God, in addition to promoting the values ​​of volunteer work and national belonging, and displaying The bright picture of the people of this country in the fields of humanitarian service.

Participating sectors and most important work

The various scouting sectors participate in implementing the camps: the Ministry of Education, universities, the General Corporation for Technical and Vocational Training, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and the Ministry of Sports, in an integrated framework that enhances the unification of scouting efforts in providing volunteer services.

The work of the participants includes supporting the special forces for Hajj and Umrah security, and security patrol leaders. In the central region of Mecca and Medina, in addition to supporting the efforts of the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, which contributes to organizing the movement of visitors and providing guidance and field services.

The number of participants in Mecca reached more than 400 participants, while the number of participants in Medina exceeded 350 participants and participants, embodying the values of compassion, human care, responsibility, peace, volunteerism, cooperation, and national belonging.
