A breakthrough in the ranks of Al-Bataeh with the return of Bessa, Deco and Jumah before facing Al-Wasl

Al-Bataeh’s lineup against Al-Wasl, scheduled for Saturday in the 17th round of the Professional League, witnesses an important breakthrough in terms of the return of a number of basic elements to the options of Iranian coach Farhad Majidi, which gives the technical staff a strong impetus before that confrontation that will be held in Zabeel.
The list is expected to include the return of the Brazilian trio Daniel Besa, Mohamed Jumaa, and the French newcomer Noha Deco, after their absence from the last Al Dhafra match, which ended in a positive 1-1 draw for various reasons.
A member of the technical committee and supervisor of the first football team at Al Bataeh Club, Abdulaziz Al Mazmi, confirmed that his team is looking forward to achieving a positive result against Al Wasl, stressing that the team is moving in the right direction even though its ambition was not to be satisfied with the draw point it obtained in the last Al Dhafra match.
Al-Mazmi said in statements to the media center: “There is no doubt that coming out with one point against us is not enough for us and we are not satisfied with it, but we always look at the positive side, which is that the team did not suffer a loss in the last five matches, which reflects the high performance index and the development of the level significantly.”
He added: “We deserved to win based on what we presented in the second half, where we created a number of opportunities that were not exploited in the desired manner. The performance was good overall, but we lacked the final touch in front of the goal.”
Al-Mazmi appreciated the work of the technical staff led by Iranian coach Farhad Majidi, saying: “We are satisfied with the work done by the technical staff and with the players’ commitment and fighting spirit. Everyone is making a great effort, but we still have more work to do in the next stage.”
He continued: “We trust the technical staff and the commitment of the players. Everyone understands the extent of the responsibility, and there is a positive spirit within the group that reflects a real desire to advance in the rankings. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but we believe in our ability to achieve our goals.”
Al-Bataeh had strengthened its ranks with a number of signings, most notably French striker Nouha Dico, coming from Paris FC, who had previously represented Wolverhampton Wanderers and Hull City, in addition to the inclusion of Sekou Liga, Al-Hassan Saleh, Haroun Mohamed, and Saeed Suleiman, to enhance the team’s chances of remaining in the professional league.
Al-Bataeh currently ranks 12th in the overall league table with 13 points.
