86 horses compete for the titles of the 13th evening of the “Dubai Racing Carnival”

At 5:30 pm today, at the Meydan International Racecourse, the Dubai Racing Club will organize the 13th evening of the “Dubai Racing Carnival” season, in a ceremony that includes eight rounds, all of which are dedicated to purebred hybrid horses, sponsored by “Al Tayer Motors”, with a total of 4.01 million dirhams in prize money, with 86 elite local and international horses competing for their titles.

The evening begins with a race for beginner horses over a distance of 1,400 meters (sand), attracting 12 horses, competing for financial prizes amounting to 165 thousand dirhams.

The excitement continues in the sixth and main round, which hosts the “Blanchine” Championship for fillies and mares of the second category (Group 2), with a total prize pool of 850 thousand dirhams, as 8 elite fillies and mares compete over a distance of 1,800 meters (grass). The two representatives of the “Godolphin” team stand out under the supervision of international trainer Saeed bin Suroor, led by the mare “Dubai Beach”, which was crowned last month with the title of the “Cape Verde” Championship in Meydan, along with its colleague “Dubai Treacher”, who came third in the same race.

The evening will also witness its second major tournament, the “Emirates Oaks”, which is held in the third round for fillies of the third category (Group 3), with prizes of 800 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 7 of the strongest fillies over a distance of 1900 metres, led by “Lioness” with the logo of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, under the supervision of trainer Salem bin Ghadeer, and coming from a deserved victory last month in the “Cocoa Beach Stakes” championship title, which was held on The track itself is 1600 metres.
