المملكة: "Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques": 8 thousand vehicles to serve the guests of God in the Grand Mosque


The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques revealed the availability of 8,000 vehicles to facilitate the movement of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and worshipers with excuses in Umrah pilgrimsand pilgrims, and are available in more than one size to suit different needs, as they all work within an integrated system aiming to provide the utmost comfort to the guests of God during the performance of their rituals.

Vehicle locations

In order to facilitate the beneficiaries’ access to the service, the Authority has identified three main locations for obtaining free vehicles in the courtyards of the Grand Mosque, including the eastern courtyard on the side of the mass transit entrance, the southern courtyard next to the King Abdulaziz Endowment, may God have mercy on him, in addition to the western courtyard. From the side of the Shubaika entrance.

In order to organize the mechanism for using the electric vehicles that are located specifically on the mezzanine floor and the first floor, the authority allocated four main entrances to access the service, which are the eastern courtyard on top of the Al-Qashashiya roof, the southern courtyard via the Ajyad Bridge leading to the first floor, and the escalator designated for Bab Ajyad, in addition to the western courtyard through the Shubaika Bridge.

The authority also indicated that there are additional entrances designated for vehicles, including the Ajyad Bridge, the Shubaika entrance, Al-Arqam Staircase, and the entrance to Al-Marwa Bridge.

In a step aimed at employing technology to serve those visiting the Two Holy Mosques, the authority made it possible to reserve an electric vehicle before arriving at the Holy Mosque of Mecca through the application. "Navigate" Available on electronic stores for smart devices.

The cart pusher service

Once the reservation is completed, the cart will be waiting for the beneficiary at the specified service points either at the beginning of the Sa’i from the Safa side, or in the mezzanine floor at the beginning of the circumambulation.

In addition, the Authority has provided a cart pusher service to facilitate the elderly and people with disabilities, as the providers of this service are located in strategic locations that include the ground station, the ground Masa’a at Gate 14, Al-Masa’a is on the second floor at the Al-Arqam Stairs, and King Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him.

In the same context, the authority announced the provision of a free golf cart service in the courtyards of the Grand Mosque, which has been designated for transporting Umrah pilgrims, elderly worshipers, and people with special needs, to ensure their movement with ease and convenience in the outer courtyards of the Grand Mosque.
