“He acts like a spoiled child.” Former England coach Sam Allardyce attacks Mohamed Salah

Egyptian international Mohamed Salah was subjected to sharp criticism from former England national team coach Sam Allardyce, after he described him as “behaving like a spoiled child”, in light of the continuation of his difficult season with Liverpool.
The Egyptian striker is going through a complicated period, as he has only scored four goals in the English Premier League, the last of which was in early November.
Salah had a temper tantrum earlier this season after his role within the team was reduced. He also had a wry smile on his face at the weekend, when he was substituted before the final whistle during Liverpool’s win over Nottingham Forest.
Allardyce said in his interview on the “No Tippy Tappy Football” podcast: “Mohamed Salah has to take responsibility, sit with himself, and make sure that he starts scoring. He has to stop blaming Arnie Sloat, when not scoring and being substituted is his fault. He cannot feel disappointed because he was replaced when he does not score or create chances.”
He added: “It seems like a mental barrier, because it is no longer just a passing period, but an entire season. It is a source of concern for Liverpool and for him personally. He must stop showing his dissatisfaction with the situation on the field. Let him go and knock on the coach’s door and discuss the matter there. He does not do that in front of everyone; he acts like a spoiled child.”
Allardyce is not the first to criticize Salah for his performance against Forest, as former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher attacked his performance at the City Ground.
He said: “Ngomoha did more in 15 minutes than Salah and Gakpo did before that. He changed the course of the match and must start.”
Salah faces an uncertain future with Liverpool, and although his contract extends until 2027, he is still linked to speculation about a huge move to the Saudi League.
