المملكة: Ministry of Hajj: Suspending 3 Umrah companies for violating housing obligations for pilgrims
Deprecated Housing services for Umrah pilgrims in accordance with the approved contractual programs, confirming that legal measures are being taken, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, against the external agents contracting with these companies.
The Ministry explained that it had noticed the arrival of a number of Umrah pilgrims coming to the Kingdom without providing approved housing for them, despite the documentation of these services within the contractual programs, in clear violation of the regulations and instructions regulating the activity of services for Umrah pilgrims and visitors The Prophet’s Mosque.
It confirmed that it obligated the violating companies to provide housing for all affected Umrah pilgrims immediately, indicating that the measures taken came immediately in accordance with the approved regulatory frameworks, ensuring the preservation of the rights of the affected Umrah pilgrims, preventing the recurrence of such violations, and enhancing the quality of services provided to the guests of God.
A breach of contractual obligations
The Ministry indicated that this measure It comes as an extension of its ongoing efforts to follow up on the commitment of Umrah companies and institutions to accurately implement their approved contracts, and its keenness to raise the level of services provided to pilgrims, in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership – may God support it – and in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
It stressed that it will not tolerate any negligence or breach of contractual obligations, stressing that the rights of the guests of God are a top priority, and that the quality of services provided represents a red line that cannot be tolerated. By exceeding it, calling on all Umrah companies and institutions to fully adhere to the approved controls and instructions, and to provide services according to the contracted programs.
