The King of Jordan confirms that the necessary steps are being taken to protect the country’s sovereignty

Jordanian King Abdullah II confirmed on Saturday that his country will take the necessary steps to preserve the safety of its citizens and protect its sovereignty, after two ballistic missiles fell on the Kingdom’s territory.

A statement issued by the Royal Court said that the King, during a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, condemned the “attack on Jordanian lands,” stressing that “the Kingdom will continue to take all necessary steps to preserve the safety of its citizens and protect its security and sovereignty.”
