In a phone call with Saqr Ghobash…the head of the Moroccan Council of Councilors condemns the blatant Iranian attacks on the territory of the Emirates
Abu Dhabi, February 28 / WAM / Today, His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, received a phone call from His Excellency Sidi Mohamed Ould Rachid, Chairman of the House of Advisors in the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco, during which they discussed developments in the escalating situation in the region and its repercussions on regional and international security and stability.
During the call, His Excellency Sidi Mohamed Ould Rachid expressed his country’s condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE, stressing that they represent a dangerous escalation that threatens the security of the region and undermines its stability, and is a violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
The Chairman of the Council of Advisors in the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco expressed the Kingdom’s denunciation of the attacks, its full solidarity, and its standing by the UAE and putting all its capabilities to support it in all the measures it takes.
For his part, His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Chairman of the Council of Advisors in the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco, thanked Morocco’s position in support of the UAE.
