The Head of State and the Turkish President discuss by telephone the developments taking place in the region and their repercussions on its security and stability
ABU DHABI, 1st March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, today received a phone call from His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Turkish Republic, during which they discussed the military escalation in the region and the serious threat it entails to its security and stability.
The Turkish President affirmed his country’s rejection of the Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE and a number of sister countries, stressing that the continued military escalation exacerbates the state of tension and exposes the security of the region to serious risks.
The two sides called for the need to immediately stop military actions and address various regional issues through dialogue and diplomatic means.
