The AFC postpones the matches of West Asian clubs in the Champions League due to the situation in the Middle East

The Asian Football Confederation announced today, Sunday, the postponement of the first leg matches of the round of 16 of the 2025/26 AFC Elite Champions League for the Al-Gharb region, which were scheduled to be held on March 2 and 3, in light of the development of the situation in the Middle East region.

The postponement also included the first-leg quarter-final matches of the AFC Champions League 2 and the 2025/26 AFC Challenge League for West Asian clubs, which were scheduled for March 3 and 4, as the Federation decided to postpone them until further notice in order to preserve the integrity of the game’s elements.
