The Head of State receives a phone call from the Prime Minister of India, during which they discuss developments in the situation in the region and their repercussions on its security and stability.

Abu Dhabi, 1st March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, today received a phone call from Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, during which they discussed developments in the region and the dangerous military escalation it is witnessing that undermines regional security and stability.
During the call, the Prime Minister of India expressed his country’s rejection of the blatant Iranian attacks on UAE territory and its solidarity with the UAE in all the measures it takes to protect its sovereignty, preserve its security, and preserve the safety of its lands and citizens.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his thanks to the Prime Minister of India for his country’s position in support of the UAE.
The two sides stressed the need to stop the escalation in the region and give priority to dialogue and diplomacy in resolving differences and outstanding issues in a way that preserves its security and stability and prevents further escalation.
