Committee in "Federal National" Its report is based on a draft federal law regarding combating communicable diseases

Abu Dhabi, 5 March / WAM / The Health and Environmental Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council, during its video meeting today headed by Her Excellency Dr. Sidra Rashid Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Committee, approved its report on a draft federal law regarding combating communicable diseases.
Participating in the meeting were the committee members, His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al-Dhahouri, the committee’s rapporteur, Salem Rashid Al-Maftul, and Mohammed Ahmed Al-Yamahi, members of the Federal National Council.
The committee reviewed its comparative schedule of the draft law, discussed its developments, discussed its detailed articles, and made its amendments to the provisions of the draft law in a way that enhances its legislative integration and keeps pace with the best global health practices.
The draft law aims to combat communicable diseases, protect public health, organize reporting mechanisms, and enhance the role of health facilities and medical professionals in the field of prevention and control.
