"Khalifa Educational" The start of the stage of evaluating and judging the works of the candidates in its 19th session
Abu Dhabi, 9 March / WAM / The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Educational Award, one of the institutions of the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Foundation, announced the start of the stage of evaluating and judging the works of the candidates in the nineteenth session 2026, through interviews carried out by specialized arbitration committees to review the nominated educational projects and initiatives in various fields and categories.
The General Secretariat explained that the evaluation and arbitration stage aims to measure the actual impact of the submitted works, monitor their results on the ground, and the extent of their contribution to developing the education system and improving the quality of the learning environment, in accordance with the excellence standards approved by the award.
His Excellency Humaid Al-Hooti, Secretary-General of the Khalifa Educational Award, confirmed that this stage is considered one of the pivotal stages in the judging system, because it provides an opportunity to identify and see directly the outputs of the nominated works, and to evaluate the extent of their effectiveness and sustainability, and their positive impact on the educational field.
He pointed out that the evaluation committees include an elite group of experts and specialists in the relevant educational and academic fields, as they study the nominated projects, analyze the results of their implementation, and their compatibility with the requirements of educational development, keep pace with modern transformations, and anticipate the needs of the future.
Al-Hooti explained that the field evaluation of the projects focuses on the extent to which the elements of the educational process benefit from these projects, especially the student, as he is the focus of the educational process and its primary goal. He pointed out that the award is keen to support initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of education and enhancing its outcomes.
The Secretary-General expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the arbitration committees and teams, stressing that these efforts contribute to consolidating the position of the Khalifa Educational Award and its leadership among specialized educational awards at the regional and international levels.
