"Energy and infrastructure" The Ajman Police General Headquarters building project is being completed
Ajman, 9 March / WAM / The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure announced the completion of the Ajman Police General Headquarters building project, in a step that reflects the completion of one of the most prominent strategic security projects that strengthens the security infrastructure system at the level of the UAE.
His Excellency Engineer Mohammed Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure for Infrastructure and Transport Affairs, said during a field visit to the building in the presence of His Excellency Engineer Yousef Abdullah, Assistant Undersecretary for the Federal Infrastructure Projects Sector, that the completion of the project embodies the ministry’s commitment to developing an advanced federal infrastructure that supports the security and stability system, and reflects the state’s trend towards establishing modern government facilities that keep pace with institutional work requirements, support performance efficiency, and enhance the readiness of security agencies in performing their tasks.
He added that the project constituted an advanced model for modern security projects, due to its operational efficiency, functional integration, and adoption of the concepts of sustainability and quality design, which embodies the Ministry’s keenness to develop vital facilities in accordance with the highest international standards, and contributes to raising the readiness of security work and improving the quality of services provided.
He pointed out that adopting sustainability and energy efficiency solutions in the project reflects the ministry’s commitment to supporting sustainable development goals, and establishing a balanced approach that combines operational readiness, preserving resources, and creating safe and healthy work environments, in line with the state’s vision of building a flexible and sustainable infrastructure that supports the present and anticipates the future.
He explained that the project to establish and complete the Ajman Police General Headquarters building is one of the vital and qualitative projects, as it was designed according to a modern architectural style that keeps pace with the highest functional and security standards, in a way that meets the requirements of advanced police work and enhances operating efficiency.
He pointed out that the project includes an integrated system of buildings and facilities, including the main building with all its departments, service buildings, electrical and pump rooms, the gate and guard building, in addition to nursery buildings, weapons stores, the detention and criminal investigation building, in addition to external works, parking lots and fences, providing an integrated security environment designed according to the best engineering practices.
He stated that the building was equipped with solar panel systems to generate clean and renewable energy, and systems were implemented, which contributed to reducing electricity consumption and raising energy efficiency, in addition to developing the operational capabilities of the wastewater treatment plant, and providing an integrated infrastructure to support electric vehicles as part of the ministry’s efforts to support efforts to transform into an advanced infrastructure that enhances the spread of electric vehicles to reduce carbon emissions.
The Ministry recorded a new achievement in the field of occupational safety management, represented by achieving one million safe working hours without any accidents or loss of time within the project to establish and complete the Ajman Police General Command, thanks to the application of the highest standards of occupational safety and health, strict adherence to preventive measures, and continuous field monitoring of work sites.
