المملكة: Since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, more than 700,000 passengers have taken the Haramain Express Train
The General Transport Authority announced that in the Kingdom has transported more than 700,000 passengers, including visitors and guests of God, since the beginning of the month Mubarak 1447 AH until the 20th of the same month. The authority explained that the number of trips via the Haramain Express train amounted to more than 2,300 registered trips.
The train, a safe means of transportation, contributes to alleviating pressure on land roads between cities by providing fast transportation options throughout the day for beneficiaries that support the flow of movement and enhance the efficiency of transportation.
Service for the guests of God
It operates on an electric line with a length of 453 kilometers, and is classified among the 10 fastest trains in the world with an operating speed of up to 300 km/hour.
