Opening a new distribution center for "Hellman Calibar" In the Logistics District in Dubai South
Dubai, 31 March / WAM / Dubai South witnessed the opening of a new distribution center for Hellman Caliber Healthcare Logistics within the Logistics District, in a step that reflects the growing demand for specialized health logistics solutions, and strengthens Dubai’s position as a leading regional center for supply chains in this vital sector.
Dubai South said in a press release today that with this addition, the Hellman Caliber network in the UAE increases to five distribution centers, increases its storage capacity, and expands the scope of logistics services and solutions tailored to customers.
The center comes to meet market requirements, including managing health products that require speedy handling and delivery, and temperature-sensitive products in accordance with the highest compliance standards, safe handling of hazardous materials, and enhancing comprehensive digital transparency, in addition to supporting distribution operations until the final delivery stage with high efficiency.
Mohsen Ahmed, Executive Director of the Logistics District in Dubai South, said that the addition of a new center for Hillman Calibar within Dubai South reflects the rapid growth in demand for specialized logistics solutions in the healthcare sector.
He stressed that the Logistics Zone continues to consolidate its role as a pivotal platform for global supply chains, benefiting from its integrated infrastructure, strategic location, and multimodal connectivity network, enabling international companies to enhance their regional operations and ensure the arrival of vital products with high efficiency and reliability.
For his part, Lee Iones, Regional CEO for India, Middle East and Africa at Hillman Caliber Healthcare Logistics, said that the opening of the company’s fifth location for health logistics services in the UAE represents an important step towards enhancing its operational capabilities, raising the level of responsiveness and flexibility, and ensuring regulatory compliance for its customers.
