المملكة: With the participation of 1.5 million students… the launch of tests "Compete" Next Sunday
Next Sunday, the work of implementing the national tests (NAFES) will begin Government, private, and international schools, during the period from April 5 to April 23, 2026.

Tools and target areas
The tests include accompanying tools, including a student questionnaire, a parent questionnaire, a school principal questionnaire, and a teacher questionnaire, to form a comprehensive picture of the educational environment.
The target areas in the third grade of primary school focus on reading and mathematics, while the tests in the sixth grade of primary school and the third intermediate grade include the fields of mathematics, reading, and science, in order to measure the basic competencies that ensure the quality of educational outcomes in accordance with national standards.
Integration of the national vision
The results of these tests represent one of the most important performance indicators in the National School Evaluation Program and the Human Capacity Development Program, in support of achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in building a promising generation.
This step comes to enhance transparency in measuring national indicators that measure learning outcomes, which ensures the continuity of development and improvement in the educational process and directing the necessary support to schools based on accurate and realistic data and results.
