Sharjah Police launches initiatives to enhance occupational prevention during the Health, Safety and Environment Conference
Sharjah, 31 March / WAM / The Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the General Department of Safety and Prevention, will participate in the third session of the Health, Safety and Environment Conference, which is organized by the Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) tomorrow at the Al Jawaher Center for Events and Conferences in Sharjah and will last for two days.
During its participation, the General Administration of Prevention and Safety reviews a number of awareness initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing the culture of prevention and introducing the requirements and preventive measures that contribute to reducing occupational accidents and protecting lives and property, in addition to highlighting the role of Sharjah Police in supporting efforts aimed at building safe and sustainable work environments.
Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the Department, confirmed that the Sharjah Police General Command pays great attention to spreading the culture of safety and prevention in work environments by strengthening partnerships with the concerned authorities and exchanging experiences and best practices, explaining that these specialized events are an important platform for enhancing preventive awareness and exchanging experiences with specialists and experts in this field, in a way that supports the efforts of Sharjah Police in developing the occupational safety and health system and enhancing the quality of life in the emirate.
