المملكة: Exempting the guests of God from fees… and an exceptional period of departure through international ports

Exempt Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Visitors whose visas expired on the eighth of Ramadan are exempt from extension fees, giving them an exceptional period of direct departure through international ports until the first of Dhu al-Qi’dah, in order to facilitate their travel procedures.
The Ministry confirmed the right of this category to leave the Kingdom’s lands in complete smoothness, without incurring any additional financial burdens or requiring the review of the competent authorities to extend previous visas.
Expiry of the corrective period
The first of Dhul-Qi’dah, corresponding to the eighteenth of this April, was set as the final date for the expiration of the corrective period granted to Guests of God.
It explained that this exceptional measure comes within a package of proactive measures aimed at ensuring the smooth flow of departure movement through various air, land and sea ports.
The Ministry concluded by emphasizing that this step reflects its keenness to improve the quality of services, and provide a “facilitated and flexible” environment that enhances the comfort of visitors until the last moments of their departure from the Kingdom.
